Fit For A King Bring the Lonely God Tour to San Antonio
Fit For A King brought the Lonely God Tour to a sold-out Vibes Event Center in San Antonio on December 6, 2025, joined by 156/Silence, SPITE, and Currents for a stacked night of heavy music. Heavy traffic around the city made getting in a bit hectic, and unfortunately caused me to miss 156/Silence’s opening set—but once inside, it was clear the room was already buzzing with anticipation.

SPITE took the stage first and immediately set the tone with their unfiltered intensity. The California-based deathcore outfit delivered a crushing set that had the floor in constant motion. Their newest album, "New World Killer," translated powerfully in a live setting, and the crowd fed off every breakdown and callout, making their performance impossible to ignore. Without a doubt, I would say that they were the heaviest band of the night! Offstage, vocalist Darius Tehrani stood out just as much, spending time at the merch table meeting fans for photos, autographs, and genuine hangouts—a moment that added a personal touch to an already intense night.

Currents followed, bringing a dynamic shift in atmosphere without losing momentum. Their blend of melody and impact landed perfectly with the San Antonio crowd, especially during newer tracks from "All That Follows" alongside fan favorites "Better Days", "Remember Me", and "Kill The Ache" that drew massive sing-alongs. The band’s stage presence felt locked in, and the connection with the audience was undeniable.

By the time Fit For A King took the stage, anticipation had reached its peak. Backed by striking visuals, the band leaned heavily into Lonely God while weaving in familiar staples longtime fans instantly recognized, such as "When Everything Means Nothing" and "Breaking The Mirror." Mid-set, the crowd erupted into one of the largest walls of death I’ve ever seen, stretching nearly the width of the venue and crashing together with an intensity that perfectly matched the band’s delivery. Vocalist Ryan Kirby commanded the room with ease, and the crowd responded in full voice, making the San Antonio stop feel especially connected. The night closed with “Witness The End,” a crushing finale that sent the San Antonio crowd out on a high note.
The sold-out room, the massive wall of death, and the nonstop energy from start to finish made this show feel less like just another tour date and more like a moment fans will be talking about long after the lights came up. If you weren’t in the room, you missed a defining moment of the Lonely God Tour and a reminder of why Fit For A King’s home-state shows carry a level of energy that has to be experienced firsthand.
